Don't Call It A Comeback:
Ayo! Thought I was lost somewhere in the fog, huh? Not at all. My apologies but a lot has been happening here in the City by the Bay.
Initially let me touch on the Broadway Books thing one (second to) last time. I've intentionally been letting the three posts below sit for a while so that people who are directed to this blog can have their look-see. Too late suckers, no burrito for you! Kidding aside, this story continues to stun me. I've recently been interviewed by a freelance writer who has the go-ahead to write what sounds like it may be a lengthy article about this story for Inc. Magazine. While I was all set to put this behind me, happy that Broadway Books continues to do well (fingers are still crossed), I'm also happy to perpetuate its' existence as it will undoubtedly lead to further sales for Mom. Win-Win.
Onward we go! Last year I jotted down all of the live music shows I'd seen throughout the year, over there ----> on the right. I had hoped to write some kind of review on them all but time had its way and some more important things were happening at year's end, see above. This year I've chosen to do the same. A personal goal I've set for myself this year is to read as many books as the number of shows I see. I'm known for setting lofty goals for myself, we'll see how this pans out. I'm 3 for 3 thus far. Suppose I should add the reading list as well, huh?
I've recently become acquaintances with an artist I've been fond of for a few years who lives here in North Beach. Jeremy Fish and I met in Lower Haight during the holiday's and, well, long story short... We've been trading shoes for artwork and there might be a super secret plan in the works to combine those two loves we share soon. Peep some of the artwork I've been given here as well as one example below.

Mr. Fish has recently been kind enough to offer to sponsor me with his clothing line for my career as a professional disc golfer! Holla! While I'll still be wearing the huk lab gear as well I'm looking into some unique ways to combine the two on my gear.
There's so much to share and I know that these things are supposed to be kept short so I'll do my best to condense.
Please have a look at a couple of the new links I've added over there on the right as well. I have dear friends who own and operate a copy writing business called Ministry of Imagery that recently moved to Oklahoma. They're two of the wittiest, energetic, encouraging, and awesome people I've ever met. Employ them please if you have the means, they won't let you down. Hell, I'll even buy you a burrito if you give them work.
I'm excited about new music, going to more shows. I'm excited about playing tournament golf though thus far this season I've not been playing to my potential. I'm excited to get out and around this city some more and explore new areas. I'm excited to have more friends come visit and, in turn, go home to Portland a couple times over the summer for visits there.
It's late, I'm a bit scatter brained right now. I'll leave less time between posting to this thing in the future so that it's all a bit more cohesive. When that Inc. Magazine article airs I'll be sure to let you all know. If I come up with anything else I'll be back shortly.
Cheers,
a
